Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
We needed somewhere to stay last minute late on a Saturday night so it was great that we could book here and just grab the keys from the lockbox. Small room but very cosy and comfy with everything you need. Was cold when we got in the room as it was late at night and the middle of winter but the heat pump heated up the room nicely. Great that the cabins are down a drive, off the road so quite private.
It's central location and proximity to the beach, the sauna, the self contained kitchen and cooking facilities. A home away from home and nice to have an outdoor balcony
I sadly didn’t get my welcome letter from host until 2 days after arrival. When I arrived I had no lock box code. I tried phoning hosts but no answer. Luckily cleaner arrived just after 3pm. I had to leave whilst she cleaned room & then on my return she gave me code. Weirdly the welcome mail was for different cabin & different code. They should give their cleaner a raise.
Friendly staff and permanent residents. Secure private parking for 2 cars. Gym, sauna, hot tubs & pool on fourth floor, the roof top garden was also a great feature. Apartment was perfect for our needs, and the housekeeping team were excellent. Having a fully functioning kitchen was also a bonus for the odd day we didn’t want to eat out, however the number of restaurants and cafes with a few minutes walk meant we didn’t cook very often.
