The whole experience at The Chapel was exceptional. It is set in idyllic rural surroundings with coastal views. It is superbly renovated and has everything you'd need for quite a long stay! The host is caring, checking in but not in the least obtrusive. The bed is fantastic in terms of comfort. Would totally recommend!
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Candy was so friendly! She really welcomed us with such warmth. The house is beautiful (cosy beds, lovely view, very warm) and the grounds were amazing (glow worms on site! Kiwis running around) so peaceful and so worth it! Will definitely stay again!
The room was comfy, clean and cosy. The charm of the furniture, mirror, artwork resonated with character of an older building, french doors etc... and bathroom was modern and felt lux. Had a heat pump above our bed which was great on a freezing night in front of tele Lol Nice, affordable and clean. Sheets were crisp, clean and mattress was so comfy 10/10
The grounds are very charming as a lot of attention is given to small and lovely details. The cabins are very nice, spotless and the beds were great. The commmunal kitchen is very well equipped and really inviting.
The garden is a juwel - everything arranged and kept with so much care.
Teresa and Bruce are lovely hosts, very kind and helpful. The Cafe and Shop on the premises is very cute.
We would definately recommend the place!
This was a self catering cabin and we made simple breakfasts. We love the area and it was our sixth holiday there. The Manea experience was close by and absolutely wonderful I highly recommend a visit. We love the fact that the west coast is wilder and not built up (yet.) The shower is the absolute best! We'd ranked one in Florence 2019 as the best but it's dropped to second place. Nice towels and bed linen.
