Such an amazing place! The owners were very welcoming and friendly. The accommodation is a converted barn on several levels., the top floor is fairly open plan with different sections. There is a cosy living room part with corner sofa and tv, then a section with a bunk bed and two extra single beds, to the other side is a big dining table, and then in a raised section is a double bed. Down some stairs is a fully equipped kitchen, down a few more stairs is a snug with TV, gaming console and bar. On the same floor is a separate toilet and good size shower. There is also a washing machine available to use.
It's hard to describe this property to properly do it justice. It is so fun and quirky with how it has been styled with old artifacts, plus lots of different lighting that helps to create a great ambience.
Location wise it's fabulous, we drove into Ålesund with no issue and also explored all the various islands nearby. It is a truly beautiful part of Norway.
Just a few minutes drive away you have a petrol station, takeaway pizza place and a large supermarket.
If you're looking for something a little different that will bring a smile to your face I highly recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful time. The house is spacious, kitchen is very well equipped. Located in a quiet area with grocery stores nearby. You can get to Alesund in 15 mins by car. Pets are welcome. Everything was great!

This is a wonderful house truly.
My wife and I have traveled for many years and have hardly found a place as nice as this.
Cleanliness, quiet location, design of house, detail facilities, spaciousness, easy parking, view, host's friendliness, prompt response, almost everything was top-notch.
We were a couple, but at least 8 people could stay comfortably.
We originally booked for two days, but as soon as we saw the house we decided to extend our stay by one day.
We were so happy here and were sad to leave.

Very nice, cozy apartment. Nice homely decor, clean. All necessary things are in place, washing machine, dryer, kitchen utensils, hair dryer, dishwasher. Very close to the center, shops and bus station. Lovely location in a restored building. Contact with the host was very good.
What a charming and delightful family-run gem! Beautifully restored with comfortable rooms and a delicious breakfast. It is pleasantly located just outside the city centre. The Sunnmore Museum adjoins the property - plenty of interest there as well as a spacious park with an enchanting walk, taking you up to a good elevation for some superb photos! Highly recommended - both the museum and the guesthouse!
Amazing cozy cabin with a nice balcony. The temperature was set perfectly and the bathroom floors too had heating facilities.
The TV kitchen was well equipped and the bed was really soft... The best part of the host who is extremely helpful and very proactive in terms of replying to any messages.
The enormous fireplace at the entrance, as well as the building and decoration are absolutely beautiful.
Location is perfect, rooms are big and bed is really comfortable.

The hotel is cozy with a huge fireplace in the lobby and a lovely decoration. It has a perfect location, within downtown, with fantastic views of the sea. The breakfast was excellent.

Location was a little out of town, but that's what you trade for beautiful views by the water. The cabins were idyllic, the small double bed was a good surprise. Toilet block was kept very clean, cleaned regularly. Cooking equipment could be borrowed from the communal kitchen. Two hobs in the cabin, fridge, storage, plug sockets, radiator. Highlight is the views from your bed and the balcony, all for an amazing price. Staff were also friendly. Bikes could be hired from the reception.
