Generally, the flats in Japan are not big. We had 2 sleeping rooms in this house which was a pleasant surprise and good for our 6 people family. The place is clean, in quiet neighborhood, close to 2 metro/rail stations.
It is located close the one of the central tourists' attractions in Kyoto (Fushimi Inari Taisha) so there are a lot of tourists in the train stations' area.

There are much to like about the place. You have an entire apartment to yourself, upper floor for two bedrooms, ground floor for living space and study. There’s two baths, one is a large size one. Place is one, well heated, excellent washing machine, a kitchenette for basic needs.

Location is very convenient to Supermart, Train station and it is within walking distance to Fushimi Inari. If you drive, there is a carpark nearby that charge ¥300 overnight from 6pm to 8am.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
