If you are looking for a Ryokan at the centre of Osaka - this is the best place! I really enjoyed the retro vibe of the facility. Just what I was looking for. Also great public bath with hot tub and a sauna.
The location is also the best since you can see the Dotombori district out of your window. Surprisingly I didn’t hear any loud noises during the night so I enjoyed the sleep.

Incredible value for money with great amenities! The public bath is excellent with two hot tubs, cold tub and sauna. They provide lots of free goodies including capsules with concentrated coffee that are so much better than instant coffee. The pyjamas also were great. Very comfortable bed.

Room is spacious and I think larger than expected. Though the closet is very small, it was no problem for us as we only stayed few nights. Room and bathroom are also clean.
Lobby was cozy. It even has a fireplace. Laundry, free coffee, and reading area are also available.
Location is also good since it is near to Shinsaibashi Suji, Midusoji subway.
Excellent value, The room is very big with lots of amenities, big cabinet to hang your cloths and store the suitcase,. The hot tub with whirlpool is a bonus - Location couldnt be better next to Kuromon fish market and 5 miutes walk from the Nankai Line at Namba station.
The hostel rooms were very small. Just something to be aware of. Don't let this put you off. The rooms were timber panelled and quite charming. There is a restaurant in the main lobby and plenty of delicius street food nearby. On the top floor there is a large eating table/relaxation room to get together with your friends.
