We thought the location was excellent. It was a short walk to the bamboo forrest, but also a quick trip into the city by train. It also has a supermarket next door and a nice restaurant within walking distance. A washing machine was handy in the middle of our trip. Luggage service delivery is also just a short distance away. Spacious area to sit around main table.

The reception staff were very nice, and the outdoor bath and tea ceremony presentation were excellent. The location is in downtown, but a little bit away from the tourist areas, which we liked because it gives a more authentic vibe of living in Kyoto.

Incredible location, and the chance to stay in a traditional Kyoto house. There is a washing machine and free detergent. Very clean and comfy. Lots of space too, felt like our home for a few days! They even change the towels for you each day!
