We had a lovely stay here. Cathy was a brilliant host. Merci! Very well-equipped, beautifully decorated house and garden with nice views of the hills. Very nice rooms and common areas. Super clean too. Only 5 minutes walk down to Bunclody, which is a lovely town.Choice of breakfast was excellent too. Stay here!

We liked everything. Brendan the host was a gentleman from start to finish nothing was an issue. The house is spacious, clean, everything works, location is perfect, nice and quite area, the garden is lovely and big, the kids loved the hammock. If we need accommodation in Carlow again we will be doing our best to get this house again.

The whole experience was excellent, nice quiet village, not to far from your main towns.
Facilities were very clean and bed was super comfortable, everything you might expect and need. And lets not forget 'scooper' the dog, very friendly and always excited to see you. And as of the owners, very polite and helpful, couldnt ask for anything more.

Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
It was an exceptionally clean and cosy house with lots of old world charm. Very quiet and peaceful. We were at a wedding in Mount Worsley hotel in Tullow and it was only a 20 minute drive. Local taxi ( number provided by host) collected us in the early hours,
Location and views were beautiful, our cabin was spotless, the hosts their children and pets where most welcoming, felt comfortable, safe and chilled. Even my older children enjoyed themselves. Definitely would come back 😀
We stayed at The Hollow for three nights. It's in a remote area which we loved. The house was warm and cosy and full of character. Would love to have stayed a bit longer.

Spaciosness of the foyer yet cosy and warm. Friendliiness of the staff and their efficiency without being intrusive. Lived the vintage cars in the lobby. A quirky touch. .lots of nooks to sit and relax outside the bedroom. The bedroom was large and very comfortable.
The host Maggie was very welcoming. The breakfast was delicious- lovely to have a healthy breakfast rather the fried food I expected. The room was cosy with a lovely view across fields.
We have just returned from Grove Cottage at the Lodge. It was a fabulous base for us, golfing at Mount Wolseley. Ann Marie was a wonderful host, from the cheese and crackers and a bottle of wine left for us on arrival to her kindness to us all during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. The cottage and garden were lovely and the children really loved the zip wire. I can't recommend this place highly enough , and 100% would love to return
