We had such a beautiful overnight stay here. I couldn't recommend it more, The chalet itself was beautiful while being surrounded by nature and the beautiful lights outside at nighttime made it even more beautiful and romantic. A small, clean, and cozy cabin right across the bank of the river with everything needed for a couple of days' stay. It was as perfect as it could be - warm recommendation!

We had a fantastic stay with family at Knockreagh farm cottages. They were well kitted out with everything you could ever need for a family stay. They were warm and cosy with comfy beds. We loved the hot tub and sauna and bar. Mikes communication was without fault. Highly recommend this property and wish Mike the best with his endeavours.
the location it was so beautiful and peaceful the cottage was really cosy and comfortable for my family and the kids loved it as there was open space to play hurling/soccer a play area for smaller kids a pool table and we all loved the jacuzzi with sauna and there was a bar also with a lounge area to chill in the evening..the owner Mike was very obliging and friendly and had the fridge stocked with a few bits on arrival ..would definitely recommend it for a relaxing and peaceful wkend 👌
Mike greeted us on arrival and was very friendly and welcoming. We stayed in the Stone Cottage which was very comfortable and had a well stocked fridge with bread, milk and wine etc. Our dog loved the open space and made friends with the.resident dogs. The hot tub and the bar where you can pull your own pint of Guinness was an added bonus. Lovely peace and quiet but also only a short drive into Kilkenny City.
The cottages at Knockreagh are all brand new with gorgeous interior design and every comfort you could wish for. Brilliantly kitted out - the one we were in even had throws on the sofas, candles and tasteful Christmas decorations. It was super warm and cosy. This is probably the best self catering we’ve ever stayed in. Mike was super welcoming and helpful but not intrusive. A great location between Callan and Kilkenny but also on a working farm. It would be amazing in the summer too with the outdoor seating and BBQ. We loved it.
