We had a perfect stay here this week. The house is beautiful, spacious and great for a big group. It had everything we needed and we've already looked up dates to come back next year. There are shops a short drive away and nice walks along Lough Rea nearby too. The hosts were brilliant also.

Beautiful location and as we were there to celebrate a 70th birthday we really enjoyed the outdoor area with BBQ....great fun! We made the short drive to Lough Key Forest Park which meant we could use our kayaks and bikes. A really great weekend!

We had a wonderful stay in the peaceful Irish countryside. Michael was very kind and welcoming. We got to explore beautiful natural landscapes, fascinating museums, and charming nearby towns, all easily accessible by car. The house was large, clean, and comfortable, equipped with all the necessary amenities. We can only recommend it!

My second time to stay but as a couple this time last time was myself and my children, next time it will be as a family.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Marie couldn't have been a more amazing host! From her warm welcome, to our goodbye, everything was incredible! Gorgeous room, super cosy beds, easy to find, and so peaceful! Marie and her husband John made a fabulous breakfast for us and were so accommodating. Couldn't recommend them more!
Absolutely beautiful cottage in a stunning location.everything you would need was provided.very spacious inside and out.loads of hot water and great showers.very comfy beds.5 min drive from roscommon.we had a 10 year old with us and her bike.loved cycling on the quiet road and a pony accross the road was a big hit....john the host was exceptional.....10 out of 10 from us....our 2 nd stay and it wont be our last.....
Very clean and comfortable, and a real welcome from the owners who know all their guests by name. It's a quiet location with lovely views of the countryside and Lough Ree. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners, in terms of local recommendations and help.
The food was incredible. You could tell they source from farmers that are local. It was absolutely fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly and charming. I got a new sport to get lost into. The room was gorgeous, it felt spacious, the room was clean and the staff kept it in top shape. O never had a want of towels, or anything. They were lovely.
Lovely stay in this comfortable and cosy place. Room was of a very high standard and spotless. Great breakfast and great value for money. We'll definitely be back. Staff are so helpful and welcoming.

The pool, sauna, steam room, hot tub were brilliant & water pressure in the room was a fantastic, very relaxing shower. Breakfast was very enjoyable, especially watching nature outside around the property birds etc. Staff were really nice on the front desk and at Breakfast. Unfortunately I can't remember their specific names to mention them.
It was very cosy and perfect for a couple. The interior was so quaint and dainty. It was in the perfect location for the wedding that we attended in Kilronan Castle. The lodge was so warm and had everything we needed provided for us.
