Beautiful place, garden, house with great equipment, comfort beds, very kind staff. Nice and usefully filled fridge, bread, etc., especially if you arrive at 2 in the morning… Just amazing. Thanks!

This home was absolutely spectacular. We rented it for a group of 6, as we were attending a wedding nearby. We almost skipped the wedding because we didn’t want to leave!
A peaceful haven off the main roads, and really in the heart of the Tipperary countryside.
We could have spent the day outside on the covered patio. There were even cows over the ditch!
The building itself appears newly renovated, but oozing with the traditional build and the extension is nothing short of a journey! Natural light flowing all day.
I’d imagine a super place for a group of 8-10 people for a quiet getaway or small, family/friends celebration.
We are deciding our excuse to return!
Margaret was super to deal with, besides not meeting her, we felt very much welcomed and at home!
Thanks a million!

Lovely cottage in the countryside with a cute pony, Teddy! We had a lovely stay with our dog. The cottage is very comfortable and the host, Tracy, is very responsive and accommodating. We would happily stay again :)

Location is lovely and quiet. Owners called to the house to check up on us during the stay and asked how many of us were staying at the house, they drove by again later to look in to make sure we weren't exceeding the number of guests (we weren't). It was a bit invasive. Signs all over the house with excessive rules-hoovering all floors and emptying bins before leaving, charging 6euro for an EXTRA BIN LINER, only 4 guests allowed in the house even though advertised as sleeps 6 (4 bedrooms) and charging for electricity upon departure. Not a very relaxed feel.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
This was our third time staying at the Waterside Cottages so we knew what to expect and were not disappointed!
Lovely comfortable house, beds are very nice, everywhere clean. Love the little stove for a cosy fire in the evening.
My favourite thing was the hot tub!! The fairy lights around it were stunning and it made it so cosy. The bed was so comfortable .
Everything you needed was there.
The place is lovely, the instructions were detailed, the hot tub looked gorgeous but we didn't get time for it, the shower was great, the food left for breakfast was lovely, all the TV stuff ore set up was great, the communication was great. Lovely views of the countryside. So quiet!
Margaret and Alfie and their 3dogs were very welcoming, hospitable and great fun.Their home was charming, full of character,in beautiful grounds and countryside, home cooking, great food .It felt like a home away from home.
Margaret was a super host. The apartment was spotless and very comfortable. The added touch of comfy robes for the hot tub and wine coolers etc was lovely. The bed was very comfortable and we had everything that we needed for a romantic night away. The surprise of the porridge bread with jam and butter on arrival was delicious and the homemade breakfast was plentiful and very good value for money. We will certainly be back.
Geraldine was so lovely to deal with. Couldn't do enough for our group of four women. Cottage was warm, clean and very cosy with lots of space. Loved everything about our stay.
Breakfast was not included as it was a self catering cottage, we had a small dog with us but the two eateries in the area have a strict no dogs policy, so we didn't eat in the area other than cooking for ourselves at the property.
Delicious breakfast. Home made scones, live yoghurts, French toast, savoury pancakes, berries, generous full Irish breakfast, gluten free options. Welcoming host and hostess. Very clean rooms. Beautifully kept accommodation. Very peaceful location. Thatched cottage pub within strolling distance. Felt very safe.
