The comfort of the place was incredible! The place was beautiful and the owners are lovely. We were out late the night we stayed and there was no issues driving in to the property so late at night! They were so friendly and made us feel very welcome and comfortable.

Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
The tranquil location. Fabulous surprises behind each door of the cottage. A lovely nod to the family of Tom. It felt like a home. The availability of turf makes me want to return in the winter to light cosy fires. It is well equipped and spotlessly clean. I slept like a log. Very comfortable stay.
Lovely cottage in a quiet location. Super clean too. Beds very comfortable. My two young boys had a great time and didn't want to leave! Linda was great with communication throughout.

Great communication with the owner who was extremely accommodating. The house was spotless. Easy check in, welcomed by a cosy open fire. Extremely comfortable beds, loads of towels.
Local pub only a 5 min drive away and served lovely homemade food and pleasant staff. We hope to visit Tom's cottage one day again.

The cottage was lovely. It was cozy and had everything we needed. The setting was perfect....so pretty.
A very thoughtful touch that the hostess left us a cake and chocolate which we enjoyed...and also milk, coffee and tea.

The hostess has a booklet that was quite useful. It had everything we needed to know about the cottage, garbage, recycling, cabs, close restaurants, etc. It was the perfect guideline and we used it a lot.
Hosts very accommodating with the house warm and ready when we arrived. Easy to find, beds were lovely and cosy, spacious rooms, unlimited fuel for the open fire and plenty of blankets and bedding for a cosy weekend. Lovely sunny bedroom upon waking with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.

Linda was very kind to deal with and exceptionally helpful as she sent us a list of recommendations for activities/ restaurants / pubs etc in the area 😊 If you are looking for a place to stay in Longford I would 100% recommend this lovely cottage 😊
