Gerry was a great host, couldn't have been any more welcoming. From the minute we arrived Gerry was there on hand to greet us at the door and provided us with a little info on where to eat and drink. Visited longford over the years due to family living there. The accommodation is spot on, in a really good location of the town, central to pretty much everything you need and good views of the cathedral. We will definitely book in at Tranquility again. The comfort of the place was incredible! The place was beautiful and the owners are lovely. We were out late the night we stayed and there was no issues driving in to the property so late at night! They were so friendly and made us feel very welcome and comfortable.

Glebe House is an experience, where a BB experience, attempts to marry the experience of that of a boutique hotel. This close union is exceptionally Met and it's very much a marriage that works really well.
Our host and owner Linda was extremely welcoming and friendly. The surroundings of Glebe House are other worldly, with a mix of antique furniture, modern glimpses in tasteful decor, all complimenting each other well.
The House is situated on beautiful gardens, though we were disappointed because of the Irish weather, we were prevented of being able to discover the garden gems due to inclement rain.
We stayed before in other country houses, where a continental style breakfast was on offer, but Linda went all out with her offering of Continental style and the Full Irish. All beautifully served and cooked to perfection. Of course, breakfast was served in a beautiful well lit

The tranquil location. Fabulous surprises behind each door of the cottage. A lovely nod to the family of Tom. It felt like a home. The availability of turf makes me want to return in the winter to light cosy fires. It is well equipped and spotlessly clean. I slept like a log. Very comfortable stay.

The decor is so well co -cordinated ,modern,bright and clean.
