A great house, great space. It was very comfortable, clean place to stay with everything you could need. The location could not have been better, so much to do in the area. Being close to the hotel and leisure centre were an added bonus. The food in the hotel is excellent.

Waterford Castle Hotel Lodges, hotel in Duncannon

Waterford Castle Hotel Lodges is situated in Waterford and offers a garden, a terrace and a bar. Guests can benefit from a patio and a picnic area.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Waterford Castle Hotel Lodges. The staff were immensely friendly and helpful at the Waterford Castle Hotel when we checked in. The lodge accommodation is extremely spacious and has all the amenities you need for a very enjoyable stay, including spacious rooms, hair dryers, oven, fridge, indoor and outdoor seating areas and a microwave and toaster. We arrived with minimal supplies as we booked it quite late and there was instant coffee and milk in the fridge when we arrived. We grabbed takeaways from the clubhouse, which were great. The setting is absolutely beautiful with deer, birds, badgers, foxes and other wildlife including a wallaby. It was also quite thrilling having to use the ferry to get to the lodge.

Our room had a great view of the sea. It was cosy, spacious and very clean. The lovely wooden floor and furnishings gave a feeling of warmth and care. Our hostess was kind, helpful and cheerful. She turned on the central heating as the weather was dreary and dull one day. Located in the village of Duncannon, the beach, bars and restaurants were all well within walking distance. It all helped to make our stay more enjoyable.

The apartment has a perfect summer holiday feel, we also liked view to yard and pasture with donkeys. The fort and beach are nearby. The town itself is charming and good point for exploring surroundings.
