It was a clean and comfortable bedroom with a fantastic shower / bathroom. The view was lovely and it was peaceful. The host was very attentive and helpful. On the whole the quality of the bedroom, shower and linen were excellent.This made it an enjoyable and relaxing place to stay.

It was a great experience staying at this beautifully appointed house dating back to the 17th century. The property is set in a rural area not far from the ocean… it was tastefully decorated to maintain the theme of days gone by. The meals were home-made, using locally grown produce. The bed was super comfortable. We loved the experience.

We had a lovely stay here. Cathy was a brilliant host. Merci! Very well-equipped, beautifully decorated house and garden with nice views of the hills. Very nice rooms and common areas. The barn is fabulous. It's beautifully decorated and the bed and couches are so comfortable. Great facilities, there's everything you need in the kitchen and lots of fridge space. Penny was really friendly and responded to messages quickly, and the location is perfect, it's such a peaceful area and not too far from the town either.

John, our host, could not have been more accommodating. We had a stressful journey to the property and were relieved at how easy it was to access and get settled in. The house was warm and welcoming, was secure and comfortable over night. In fact none of us have ever slept so well! The kitchen had everything we needed, the bed linen and towels were lovely and fresh. The whole house felt 'homely'

A little bit of paradise, ... & Bernadette is the perfect host; chatty, charming, & full of interesting tips & ideas about the surrounding area!
Lovely holiday bungalow in a quiet area yet within 5 minutes walk of town centre restaurants, pubs & shops.
Great to have a washing machine, dishwasher & full fridge freezer for self catering. Lovely wee outdoor area which we didn’t use during to it being midwinter. Very modern & comfortable beds.
Woodleigh Lodge is a wonderful place to stay in Gorey. It is charmingly decorated and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was delicious. I can only recommend this B&B, and will return when we are again in the area.
We had a great stay at the lodge, it was very confortable and so cosy. The surroundings were very quiet and peaceful, with nice views out to the sea, perfect for relaxing. We highly recommend the short walk to the beach!
