We liked everything. Brendan the host was a gentleman from start to finish nothing was an issue. The house is spacious, clean, everything works, location is perfect, nice and quite area, the garden is lovely and big, the kids loved the hammock. If we need accommodation in Carlow again we will be doing our best to get this house again.

I followed the instruction on the web site and contacted the owner for the information to where the keys were located by phone and I was given clear instruction.

The barn is fabulous. It's beautifully decorated and the bed and couches are so comfortable. Great facilities, there's everything you need in the kitchen and lots of fridge space. Penny was really friendly and responded to messages quickly, and the location is perfect, it's such a peaceful area and not too far from the town either.

Beautiful countryside setting, spotless with all the added extras included. Shower gel, milk ,bread etc. The cottage itself was extremely clean and well equipped. Comfy beds and was nice and toasty on arrival.
The hosts were extremely helpful and kind, the lodge was very comfortable with lots of natural light and little touches like cosy blankets and homemade scones on arrival.
Absolutely gorgeous cottage. So warm and cosy with all the mod cons!! What a view at the back of the cottage, so peaceful too. We had a very comfortable stay, we will definitely come back again.
It was like home from home! The cottage was very cosy, comfortable and it had everything we needed. Barbara, the owner, lives onsite and she is there should you need advice or anything in relation to the cottage. The cottage is about 30 minutes from Carlow town by taxi which is doable but something to factor in should you be interested in going out while there. We would happily stay here again!
We couldn't have been more comfortable in this beautiful spacious, cosy home. Barbara our host was so welcoming and full of advice on places to visit in the area. Our fridge was full with the essentials for our breakfast 🥞🍳 🥓 🍅 🍞 milk etc, and the kitchen was well stocked with every utensil, dish, pan etc. The Courtyard Cottage is surrounded by a beautiful garden with lovely fields and meadows in view beyond which made for a very peaceful and relaxing break. We will be returning in the not too distant future. 😊
The cottage is very cosy and has all the equipment you need for a holiday. The landlady and landlord are superb hosts who picked us up at the bus station in the late evening and provided us with home baked scones and other groceries. We can highly recommend the Cut Limestone Apartments Riverside Lodge.
