Lovely 3 nights spent at The Cow House this summer, wishing we would have stayed longer to enjoy the beautiful gardens, explore the surrounding area, and take advantage of the small onsite café. The renovated space was delightful and full of interesting architectural details, the kitchen superbly equipped, the dining area with a charming view to the courtyard. Beds were comfortable, gorgeous linens… all in all a terrific find.

We were self catering and we arrived with food to cook but had to go out to eat as the oven was just unbreakable with dirty and no table or chairs to sit to eat' a two seater ment one of us 3 had no where to sit so went outside to sit in our car inside the place had not been cleaned and every wardrobe and shelf was packed with there clothes
there was two bedrooms and the only shower room and toilet was in the main bedroom with numerous Aldi and Lidl toiletries everywhere used toothpaste and toothbrushes on the sink it's just not acceptable and embarrassing to the adults in the second bedroom but we did not know that when booking we had breakfast on the road i don't thunk the windows have ever been cleaned, as for a garden no seating and you look out on falling down property which appears to belong to this property the whole place needs cleaning decorating but we think they are nor worried as it looks like it's there home and all the comfort is in the half to the right where the guy who gave us the key came out of what more can I say about this dreadful experience we drove for 3hours and then had to go out to eat it was a special occasion with nowhere to hang our clothes I would never have thought anyone would have the cheek to call this place acceptable for letting, do you not check what your letting and to add insult to injury it cost E340 and I expect it refunded I have all the photo's if you would like them.

Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
We wanted a romantic getaway and that’s what we got. Beautiful lake view with a lovely small trek option. Typical Irish aunty interiors (I think) and we loved the breakfast.
Warm and lovely welcome. Nice, cosy and clean rooms. Delicious breakfast with homemade bread and fresh produce. The whole house is absolutely charming. Beautiful opportunity to go for a walk on the property (farm walk). Would certainly book again and recomend.
Gorgeous cottage in a stunningly picturesque location. Stayed for 5 nights over Christmas and it was perfect. The host welcomed us with some cake, chocolates, eggs and other supplies in the kitchen to get us started when we arrived.
The house is spotless clean. The electric heating works very well so the house was never cold despite the weather outside and the little wood burner fireplace made it very cosy over the Christmas nights.
I love this place. It’s a dream holiday stay if you enjoy countryside. They have a lovely view of Wicklow mountain and water reservoir. Breakfast is perfect. The host is very friendly and welcoming. I would recommend to everyone one visit Ireland to stay here.
Room is cosy warm and clean.
I enjoyed a morning walk to the water, the meadow is beautiful.
Dream location in the Wicklow countryside, on a farm, next to a lake. Rooms with views. Quality breakfast, with the possibility of choosing between various options. Charming hostess, with useful advice to optimize the stay.
Beautiful Farmhouse clearly lovingly restored by Niamh and her husband and done up very tastefully.
The bedroom was cosy and warm with a very comfortable bed and lovely bed linen. We had the use of a sitting room, lots of water, tea & coffee making facilities in our bedroom with fridge and microwave - delicious cake on arrival too. The breakfast was also fab with a beautiful view across Blessington lakes.
