Lovely traditional Bali houses situated in rice fields, pool is good size and wuietly secluded. All the team was really friendly and helpful. Food was delicious! Even though there are many beautiful places in Bali, this was by far the best - nicely located, houses lovely decorated, impeccably clean and with great attention to sustainability (reusable water bottles, refillable natural mosquito sprays, soap etc).

We had the most amazing stay at Munduk Clove. The view from the room is absolutely breathtaking especially during the sunset. The staff was so kind and helpful. We asked one of the staff members how to get to the hiking trail, and after giving us a map and explaining the way to us, he even accompanied us for a while to make sure we actually found the correct trail. Since it is a little colder in Munduk than in other parts of Bali we also really enjoyed the bonfire they started for us at night. If you plan on going to Munduk you should definitely stay in this accommodation.

The villa was wonderful! Great location for visiting waterfalls and other areas of interest on the North. Plenty of walks and quieter than other areas of Bali. The breakfast had great options and the evening menu also had plenty of choice and reasonably priced. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. If we’re lucky enough to be in Munduk again, we will be sure to stop here.

It’s a very nice and well maintained cabin located in the woods, where you can literally spend the whole day just looking at the stunning view. The staff is very friendly and attentive, you feel taken care of but with a great amount of privacy. The food is thought through, breakfast is included and other meals you can simply order to be delivered. In case you don’t wanna move a finger, everything can be easily organized for you.

From the welcome to the us leaving the staff were amazing, I have to say us as Londoners were taken aback by the Indonesian hospitality at every place we stayed and Munduk Villas surpassed this. The hotel room we stayed in I believe was one of the cheaper options however it did not disappoint. The views from the balcony looked out on to the coffee plantation and we had views of the birds in the morning. The smell of the place was relaxing. We took our own little walk around the hotel and probably didn’t even cover a quarter of what it had to offer. The set up helps the neighbouring village with a steady income so it isn’t just a beautiful place to stay. There was so much to do sadly we only had a short stay and the food on offer was great.
