What a fantastic place. Jen the host was quite simply perfect. Great communication, a lovely welcome and available if needed. The location is simply stunning. British countryside at its most picturesque. And I don't think I've ever stayed anyway with so much character. You could happily spend an hour or two just walking around the property looking at things.

The cottage was comfortable, cosy and full of character. Jennie was a great host, friendly and helpful. She did all she could to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Lovely location, with nice views across the countryside. We found the cottage with no problems with Jennies directions, But DON'T use the postcode. Kitchen is very well equipt. Lots of little homely touches throughout.

Lovely cottage in great location. The friendly owner lives next door so is on hand for any queries. The cottage is accessed by a dirt track so would be tricky in a sports car , but should be ok with most other vehicles.

A very peaceful place in a lovely location. Welcoming, friendly host and adequate facilities. The cottage is cosy, well equipped, quirky and homely, and we had everything we needed during our stay. Jennie was welcoming and considerate, and she recommended places to visit in the area. We were told that the water comes from a bore hole, which gives it a distinctive smell (a little sulphurous). This did not worry us, and the water was actually very soft and did not leave any scum when we used it to make our hot drinks.

The cottage was in a very quiet part of the countryside. It was surrounded by well tended and interesting gardens. Every facility was provided, and the owner, Jenny, was available for any questions. I found I was unwinding within half an hour of arriving. The cottage was cool in spite of the extreme heat outside. Would I go there again, oh yes, and am planning my next visit. Well done Jenny, a delightful house, great reception and a new friend.

A beautiful cottage with lots of character in a very peaceful spot with far reaching countryside views. A wonderful sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Gorgeous garden where you can sit and chill and a wonderful host, Jennie, who looked after us so well and made us feel welcome, making us a cup of tea on arrival and providing us with a delicious cake! Thank you so much! We will definitely come back to stay again.

I loved the cottage which was very pretty and comfortable. I loved the location which was attractive, rural and quiet. I was visiting my parents close by but didn't want to stay with them so it was very convenient. I loved the garden and aviary (although not being woken early morning by the diamond dove!) I enjoyed visits from the dogs and chats with Jenny.
