The cottage was extremely well presented and clean throughout. You could tell a great deal of thought had been put into designing and equipping the cottage to provide everything their guests would need. The views from the cottage were over rolling countryside yet it was conveniently located. The host was friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely stay again the next time we’re in the area.

Had everything we needed for a night. We stayed there as it was close to catching the ferry out of Dover the next morning. Everything was clean and up to date.

Delightful quintessential period cottage, three bedrooms perfect for us (3 friends over 60 down for a wedding). Kitchen well equipped, pretty enclosed garden, Sky telly a bonus, great dining area, nice warm shower. Parking fine. I’d stay there again.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Excellent little quirky cottage. Some nice little touches like leaving us some milk in the fridge for tea when we arrived. Kitchen is is well stocked with tea, coffee and biscuits along with other items you might need like foil, cling film, salt + pepper, olive oil etc.
Excellent location close to Kent coastline, lots of interesting places to see in the area. Beautiful cottage, very clean excellent facilities. The host was very friendly and welcoming.
A lovely cottage absolutely full of character and period features! Comfortable beds and perfect location on Wingham high street! Lots of toys, travel cot and high chair for our little one which took a lot of the stress away!
Everything about this cottage is amazing. Perfect location , nestled in the Kent countryside surrounded by orchards, very welcoming hosts nothing too much trouble. Hawthorne Cottage is beautiful, spacious , well equipped and very clean . 1st visit but will definitely be going back .
The Roost is a fabulous property. Set in a quiet spot with easy access to surrounding towns and countryside. The property is spotlessly clean and well furnished.
The hosts are fantastic. Friendly without being a nuisance we appreciated their local knowledge.
Facilities within the cottage were all catered for.

The cottage was wonderful had everything we needed for our stay. It was warm and cosy. Was so lovely to arrive and find tea coffee milk plus bread and eggs. Location was excellent for accessing the coast less than 30 minutes to herne bay and witstable. The village pub and Indian restaurant were great good value and delicious food.
