Beautifully quiet spot in pretty quiet village. The house was delightful, full of character and beautiful things.! Breakfast, although vegetarian was truly excellent, best fruit salad, and perfectly toasted sour dough toast with a huge variety of preserves, plus great choice of cereals ad muesli. Hosts were warm and welcoming and we had use of the kitchen for drinks.

Lovely cottage with great views. Shaun and Bernie were fantastic hosts. The bed was sooo comfy! Ideal location to get away from busy life but still close enough to attractions if you want to go out and about.
The hotel is altogether charming and the staff is jovial and attentive. We had a marvelous view of beautiful Wells Cathedral. The food is outstanding—traditional English breakfast served to order and authentic gourmet Italian food in the evening. The hotel is very old and a bit quirky, which is part of its charm. We would definitely stay there again.
Really nice hut set in the grounds of a lovely cottage next to the river. It has a hot tub, fire pit and the bed was nice and comfy. The local city of Wells was really nice with a lovely cathedral, which the hosts provided us with passes for.
