Elsa met us at the gate to the property, I had already spoken to her in advance of arrival, therefore knew she was incredibly helpful and friendly, however, face to face to hand the keys over and to explain the Cwtch Hut Facilities, she was warm, engaging, so so helpful and gave full details not only for our stay at the Shepherds Hut, but also the surrounding area, where to visit, eat etc. I have never been made to feel more welcome when I have stayed anywhere as I was by Elsa. When I had spoken to Elsa and she heard it was my Partner's 50th while we were there, she organised a complimentary afternoon tea and we were literally blown awasy by her thoughtfulness and generosity, it went way above and beyond anything I had anticipated and the perfect surprise for his Birthday. The views, peace and facilities are amazing, comfy, cosy and just perfect. The hot tub was the best place to relax and have a glass of wine whilst stargazing. We stayed for three nights, could have stayed longer, booked to return next year on day two! Can't wait to go back.

We loved the character of the property which was sympathetically restored and beautifully presented. It had a lovely garden with outdoor seating and views to the nearby farm and hills. Very peaceful in a rural setting. We enjoyed hearing about the history of the property from the owner.

Firstly the location is amazing. We were lucky enough to have good weather and going out to the view over the hills with a cup of coffee in the morning was a real treat. The cottage itself oozes character and was lovely with more then enough space for the 4 of us. The cake and bread on arrival was a treat and very much appreciated. The area is really nice with plenty to see and do within driving distance.
