We stayed at the Little Haven cottage over the xmas 2021 period. The owners had made a real effort for their guests. We had a beautifully decorated 'real' xmas tree plus tasteful decorations, and a welcome basket with card, wine, mince pies etc. The thatched cottage itself is furnished to a high standard. The added bonus was the stove fireplace, and an enclosed garden. The two bedrooms have comfortable beds with lovely Egyptian cotton bedding. The kitchen supplies - both in terms of utensils/ tools and cooking materials - exceeded expectations (tea, coffee, sauces, etc). There are lovely walks from the cottage into the Alcombe Common (hopefully you will see the alpacas...!) and Exmoor forest. It was a perfect place for us to have some respite in the fresh air, and return to London with batteries (and lungs!) recharged!!
