Had a wonderful stay at the owls hoot, a great couple of nights away with my girlfriend especially with having the hot tub and sauna to enjoy, there are other houses around you but it feels totally private as the garden isn't overlooked by the neighbours.
Definitely recommend and would love to stay again especially as it's fairly local to me.

Shepherd's hut was beautiful and well equipped. Hot tub was an interesting and relaxing experience. Hotel dining was pleasant and the takeaway service was good. Food was good and staff very pleasant.

We had a lovely week during the late July heatwave. The host Jo greeted us and was lovely. The cottage was clean, the bed was comfy, and the kitchen was well equipped. The location was great for trips inland or to the coast and had a couple of good pubs around a 25-minute stroll away. We made good use of the Bbq facilities and stargazers will appreciate the dark skies. All in an excellent week.

Having two ensuite bathrooms was great. The cottage was very spacious. The location was great - both in itself and for our particular requirements - we were attending a wedding in Stowmarket and it was very convenient for this. The owner was very friendly and helpful when we needed assistance. We liked the non-intrusive approach, whilst it was reassuring to know they were on hand if the need arose - the ideal combination.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
The house is gorgeous! Beautiful old rooms but with a large modern kitchen and downstairs ensuite room. The showers were great. The beds were incredibly comfortable and there was everything we needed in the kitchen (apart from the bin drawer opening!) Fabulous jacuzzi was just what we needed after long drives from London. Lovely countryside to explore; we went to Southwold for the day, which was beautiful.

Hot tub and sauna made it extra special and very relaxing! Hosts went above to make our stay extra special. They arranged a masseuse come to the property which meant we enjoyed more relaxation in our home comfort. We loved that it wad dog friendly with dog friendly pubs/restaurants locally.

Gorgeous quaint little cottage . Really would recommend this as a romantic getaway . Lovely little touches from hosts just add to it . Hopefully be back again at some point.
