Sweetbriar Cottage Bed & Breakfast and Camping, hotel in Starbotton

Set in Starbotton and only 48 km from Ripley Castle, Sweetbriar Cottage Bed & Breakfast and Camping offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking.

I arrived later than expected but the hosts couldn't have been nicer and even provided me with an evening meal after the local pub stopped serving. The cottage had everything I needed - natural setting, not too warm and not too cold; great breakfast conveniently made earlier than expected, good shower, spacious room. I would highly recommend this place to stay for a few days or more !

Lovely cottage right on the 'Dalesway' route. Our host Colin was a great host and made us the best cooked breakfast I've ever had. Would definitely return.

The property is located in an idyllic spot in Wharfedale. It’s a large and spacious property with a high standard of fittings, and is kept very clean. Our hosts could not have been any more hospitable and friendly. The breakfast was great, plenty to eat and as much coffee or tea as you can drink! Our dog was very welcome, and had the run of the place, including a large paddock. Overall, very highly recommended.

This was a lovely cottage, so close to many walks in the Dales, especially the decent from Bucken Pike. Each of the bedrooms is very well equipped, as are the kitchen and lounge areas. I always enjoy cooking , so to have proper sharp knives and all the pots and pans I need, is a bonus. The cottage has the bedrooms on the ground floor and social space, into the garden in the first floor which works really well.

Amazing to stay in a 400 year old cottage, beautifully restored by the owners, who cooked a delicious full breakfast and delivered it to our dining table in the morning. It is situated out on a beautiful old and quiet village on the Yorkshire dales. Snacks were provided and the cottage set out beautifully.

This is a beautiful cottage in a gorgeous village. We had a really lovely stay here, everything was very comfortable and we enjoyed the bathtub after a day walking on the Dales Way. The breakfast was superb and very generous! We had dinner at the Fox and Hounds nearby - excellent food and ales and very cosy. This accommodation is highly recommended and a must stop over if walking the Dales Way or hiking in the area.
