These brand new lodges are excellent. Durham is a short(ish) walk away - 5 mins in a car. Great for looking around the university and/or relaxing with nature next to the river. I especially like the power shower, the views, the fresh flowers, fruit, wine touches. The overseer James is on hand and can’t do enough.

The property is really close to Durham centre, is beautifully presented, well appointed, and pristine. It is perfect for a base for exploring Durham or other places nearby and the host was really helpful and accommodating. This is one of the nicest Airbnb properties I've stayed in.

Lovely cosy house, had essentials for breakfast, hot drinks, towels so you didn't have to worry about the little things. The house is a lot bigger than you would think from the outside enough room for a big group.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Place was neat and tidy and very cosy. Kitchen awesome. Loved that the host left us an easter egg which is most thoughtful. He was easy to communicate with and very responsive. Lovely comfortable stay. Top notch host
Nicely situated for shops and restaurants with Parking right outside the front door. The house was beautiful inside and out, spotlessly clean with tasteful decor but really comfy and cosy. Contained everything you could possibly wish for. So much nicer than a hotel room.
Lovely modern but cosy home.
Good location for what we needed. Everything worked fine (except the fire) and no issues whilst we were there. We'll equipped kitchen.

We found the property to be of exceptional quality and standard. A lot of thought had been put into make our stay comfortable and relaxed. There was plenty of seating in the lounge area, including bean bags. There was plenty of cutlery and kitchen utensils and crockery. The hot tub was superb and extremely clean. The owners were fantastic, they checked the hot tub on a daily basis to ensure the water was at the correct level.
Location was private with stunning views. Hot tub was a welcome addition. House had a lovely homely feel and the open plan kitchen dining and lounge works really well with groups.
Bottle of wine and box of chocolates a lovely surprise, thank you.
We had a lovely relaxing stay.
The Green Tree pub was lovely and very good food only 2 minute walk away.
Would highly recommend.
