The location is great as your in the countryside but 20 minutes and your in town, setting was stunning, lovely walks where you don’t meet anybody, excellent for dog walking,accommodation was lovely and snug and everything was provided when we got there. lovely and quiet stay just to unwind and relax, peaceful watching the chickens shuffling around while sitting outside our accommodation. Beds were comfy, bathroom was amazing and the house warmed up really quickly if we needed it, looking forward to a return visit.

The Blacksmiths Shop in the charming village of Shorwell is located in a great part of the island- close to some amazing beaches and walks. The cottage itself was really spacious with comfortable sofas and beds and it was lovely to get a log fire burning in the winter. The accommodation was clean throughout - a great place to relax.

Whitestones is great for families, there are books and games to play and the upstairs bedroom was called magical. A well stocked kitchen with a washing machine and a rotary line in the garden is a massive plus for a young family. On beautiful days we enjoyed breakfast on the patio. It's a lovely peaceful spot, a short drive from Blackgang Chine. Anne and Geoff were excellent hosts and couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. We hope to return soon.
