The Pink House, hotel in Sennybridge

Set in Brecon and only 48 km from Elan Valley, The Pink House offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking.

We loved staying with Hannah at the Pink House, the bedrooms are decorated beautifully and everything was considered and stylish. We enjoyed the fact that we were staying in a busy family home with a great atmosphere. We were appreciative of the kettle facilities in the landing. The only improvement would be the option of a breakfast bag with crossaint/ juice/ fruit etc or similar like self-service cereal, as although Brecon is only a 10 minute drive away, it is handy to have a breakfast option if you are out for the day and haven't factored in a visit to town. The host made it very clear that breakfast wasn't provided beforehand, so this was not a surprise and we planned accordingly. Hannah had recommended some local pubs and had dinner at the Three Horseshoes in Groesffordd which was delicious but we aware that the kitchen closes at 8pm.

Peterstone Court Country House Restaurant & Spa, hotel in Sennybridge

Built in 1741, the Peterstone Court Country House Restaurant & Spa Hotel blends traditional charm with modern facilities. Complimentary WiFi and free parking is available at this property.

The room was very large, loads of space but believe we had a deluxe room which are amongst the biggest. Bed and equally, if not more important, pillows were soooo comfortable. The staff were all brilliant, welcoming, efficient, cheerful and friendly. Food was very good and service at breakfast and dinner couldn't be faulted.

Loved the warm snug and cozy rooms, the log fire in the Livingroom was amazing. The kitchen had modern appliances that all worked. The bed was super comfortable, the sheets were so soft and smelt amazing. The cottage is a 5 min walk to the nearest pub and the Welsh rarebit centre. About a 15 min walk away was another 2 pibd and some shops.

Lovely cosy cottage, this is a two bedroom property, one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, both single beds have pull out mattress beneath them. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves all facilities you would expect in your own home are there, just pack your toiletries and a tea towel. Views from the garden are stunning.
