The house is gorgeous with fun and stylish decor, spacious bedrooms and comfortable beds. The games room is totally brilliant with pool, sauna, ping pong and pool table. The swimming pool has hot tub jets and a current to swim against and Bluetooth speakers! It’s so luxurious with bath robe and slippers and everything you could possibly need. There are lots of places to sit and get comfy. You can also just cross the road and go swimming in the sea which was wonderful. It’s two minutes from the ferry and ten mins from the glorious Mount Stuart. We didn’t want to leave! Carol was friendly and helpful and so lovely to us.

It was very tastefully decorated and very spacious, lovely and warm with the heating on and was very well equipped . Great wee conservatory / extension in the back with a dining table and it was lovely to eat our meals there looking out to the garden the spacious well kept garden. The beds were very comfortable and had lovely warm duvets on them. There were supplies of tea/ coffee, sugar , salt and pepper which was handy . Dish soap and handwashing soap was also supplied . It was handy to have a co op convenience store a few minutes walk from the house for anything you needed.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Location and the swimming pool and sauna. Easy to park. Lovely big room area.
The reception staff were absolutely lovely and friendly as were the breakfast staff team.
This was a perfect venue for our large family gathering. Staff were attentive and did their very best to ensure that we had a good experience. Our room overlooking the Isle of Arran was lovely, and the hotel facilities and restaurants are excellent. The swimming pool, sauna and steam room offer added luxury after a dip in the sea! We have stayed here several times and would definitely come again.
Good breakfast with full Scottish continental option, the superior double room was excellent. but some of the room furniture are getting tired looking. The leisure facilities was excellent with fitness suit, decent pool for swimming and sauna.
First time I have stayed in this hotel and it was a joy! From the huge room with a countryside vista to the splendid breakfast. The staff were helpful and splendidly attired. Ten out of ten a cross the board. Easy.
Love the location and the rooms, great comfortable beds, makes a perfect spot for a quick escape. My favourite bit is the view from our room (beach) and the sound of waves. Breakfast is delicious with a variety of tasty continental choices. Staff is super friendly and made us feel welcome. Lovely cosy lounge area with a fireplace during winter season.
The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay and more. The garden is large and well established with plenty of seating and views of the hills all around.
Indoors, the house is comfortable and cosy with very comfortable beds for a great night's sleep. Perfect as a base for exploring the local area.
The hotel is of a high standard and well maintained. The Lodge room we stayed in was a big room and had a lovely view of the sea. There are two bars and restaurants each offering a different level of food choice. The food was exceptional, as was breakfast. The leisure facilities included in the price were great with a good sized swimming pool, sauna and steam room. Towels and lockers provided free.
A well-equipped, and well-located, cosy cottage. Excellent equipment. Tastefully decorated. Easy access to train for Largs or Glasgow -- and Ferry to Cumbrae Island.
