The location is very good although the house is on the road and there is some traffic in the morning.
Arrival and leaving times are generous. There are many footpaths nearby. The kitchen is a good size with pretty much everything you may need, except egg cups. One can sit out in the garden of an evening (btw, the cushions are in the woodshed to keep them dry). Comfortable double bed and quality linen.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Size and character of property was wonderful.

Warm, friendly welcome from Sam made me feel at home. Rooms were bright, airy and comfortable. Little touches like the selection of cereals with milk and fruit juice in the fridge were great. Friendly. cosy bar and the food was good too. I would definitely stay here again.
Cottage was the perfect venue for a reunion with seven friends. Well equipped and nicely furnished with interesting features. Situated in a picturesque village with local pub and plenty of walks nearby. The owner was there to meet us and show us around. Liked the steam train that ran close by.
