We had a fabulous time. It's ideally situated for walks, pubs, shops etc. Did the Offa Dyke trail up to Moel Arthur which is just down the road. Liz was a fabulous host and offered advice for walks that we didn't know about, therefore avoiding the much more popular (and busy) Moel Famau. The cottage was beautiful and the gardens well-kept. Clean cottage, very well appointed, about 12 minutes from Mold and 45 minutes from Wrexham. This was a great base and had ample room inside for a single person or couple. The large back garden bordered a wooded area, bringing wildlife closer. Guaranteed parking beside the house, the front was a courtyard shared with another cottage. The bedroom was large and comfortable with a tv; a bathroom with a large bath and shower completed the upstairs. Downstairs there was an ample kitchen with small dining area and a large living / lounge room with French doors opening onto the garden. The garden itself was a delight, with rabbits and squirrels spotted morning and evening. The wifi worked well!
