Well kept property. We found a welcome pack on our arrival. Flowers, a bottle of wine, fruit and milk and butter in the fridge. Very much appreciated and thoughtful. Comfortable double bed in the main bedroom with clean linen and plenty of towels. We chose this property also because of it's location. A very good base to explore the north of Wales. We visited all the most important places in the area including a day trip to Angelsey, Snowdonia and a drive along the northern coast from Chester all the way up to LLandudno. This property made our week long stay in North Wales so comfortable.

Absolutely loved our weekend stay. The hamper on arrival was so thoughtful and you couldn't ask for more from the cottage. The views amazing and the horses to look out to. We loved the comfort of the hot tub it was so relaxing. We can't wait to visit again soon. Also the bed was so comfy we didn't want to get up.

I doubt very much whether you will find a cottage as different as this one and especially for the money. This is the cottage to choose if you have a dog who loves water. The cottage itself was comfortable and well equipped. Whilst it is near a main road the traffic noise did not disturb me. What differentiates this cottage from the rest is the woodland garden. The owners have built an outdoor area set in woodland right next to the river Alyn, which is a gentle stream at this point. The outdoor area is covered so you can enjoy the great outdoors in the rain, or in our case be protected from the sun. Sitting in this area with a glass of chilled wine watching the wildlife is a great way to relax. There is a BBQ with all the tools provided and even an outdoor fridge, to save going back to the cottage!! If BBQ is not your thing, then there is a good pub 5 mins walk away, this is truly the ideal place to explore North Wales. As if this was not enough the owners who live next door were brilliant, they brought ice round to us (much needed) nothing was too much trouble. What a wonderful and very different cottage, we will be back.

Lovely cottage set in beautiful countryside with a stream running through the garden. Easy access to North Wales coast. Cottage well equipped with all the necessities. A lovely property, very well kept and very clean. The kitchen has everything you need to make a meal and has other essentials such as dishwasher tablets and washing liquid should you need them. The living room is cosy with a couple of sofas and a tv, whilst there is a games room in the back with a football table. The three upstairs bedrooms are all a good size and very clean, with two doubles and a room with two single beds. The hosts were very welcoming, they had got in some milk and bread to get us started which was very kind. We also required a cot and they went out and bought one for us. They were on hand if we needed them, as they worked on the farm, but never intrusive - the perfect hosts. This was a perfect place for us as we had different age groups, so the baby had space to crawl around and explore whilst the older ones made use of the game room and the garden, whilst we all enjoyed seeing the alpacas. A fantastic place and definitely hope to stay again.
