The Steps Holiday Let PHOCLE GREEN ROSS-ON-WYE HR9 7TW, hotel in Mitcheldean

The Steps Holiday Let PHOCLE GREEN ROSS-ON-WYE HR9 7TW, a property with a garden, is located in Crow Hill, 26 km from Kingsholm Stadium, 4.5 km from Wilton Castle, as well as 21 km from Eastnor...

I could have paid nearly twice as much to stay in the grotty Premier Inn up the road, so this place was a real find. It was spotlessly clean and well-appointed. On the edge of Ross, but very private and quiet. It even had Sky! The bed was insanely comfortable and the shower was excellent. The Electric vehicle charger was a real bonus. Danii went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect and this was much appreciated. A brilliant find.

We liked everything about this place. We wanted a couple of quiet days and we got exactly that at this cottage located in a countryside. It was rainy but still managed to take our dog for a walk. Loved our stay.

The location was lovely - lots of fields but walkable into the nearest village shops. The cottage was well kept with modern kitchen, outside seating area and lots of rooms. We liked that we each had a room. Neil was very responsive to any questions. I woiuld definitely stay here again in the future to see the areas we didn't have time for this visit.

The personal touch and the lovely welcome . Nothing was any trouble at all, I needed to have my son for a night due to a family issue. I called and ask3d if it was ok and when we got back to the cottage there was a bed and towels set up for him. Geoffrey and Pamela are the most hospitable hosts a real pleasure staying at woods edge.

Charming little cottage with lots of care gone into the building and design of it. Kitchen was well stocked and nice touch of leaving some food and drink items for our stay. Comfortable and good-sized living room.

The Annexe is a really lovely and a well-appointed room (and with calming beach scenes on the wall!!) - and there's a beautiful view of the countryside looking from the communal kitchen. The host's communications were perfect. And the location is ideal for visits to the Forest of Dean.

We liked how well equipped the cottage is, its location near the Forest of Dean and the Wye valley allowing us to visit the nearby towns of Monmouth and Ross and its tranquil setting on the edge of woods with plenty of footpaths for local walks.

The cottage is comfortable and tastefully decorated. Garden or indoor dining facilities, well-stocked kitchen, beautiful views. Although we didn't have children with us, we were pleased to see a few toys neatly stowed for younger guests.

Very helpful and friendly hosts, nothing was too much trouble! The room was warm, cosy, and clean, and the en suite bathroom was very useful. Lots of parking close to the house. Fridge and freezer space included in the shared kitchen, and there's lots of storage space in the room itself. It's a very nice little place, I would highly recommend staying here as a solo traveller!
