Lots of books to browse. A great wood burner, made the room very cosy. A deep bath. Waking up to a mountain outside the window. Friendly owner. A coffee shop a few doors away, which was open on a Sunday too. Lots of way marked paths straight from the cottage, lots to explore and stunning beaches a 45 minute drive away

I liked everything! The location, the food, the area, the building, the hosts. I just couldn't expect any better B&B after very stressful week at work. My room was clean, bed comfortable, and the sound of the river near by made me relax. The hosts Robin &Jane put all their heart in this country house. It is old fashioned building from 15th century. This place made me go back to memories when I was a child;chickens outside I just can't say enough. My partner and I loved it hope you will too.

The Firecat is a very old building with lots of character, but modernised to give perfect comfort. The breakfasts were lovely, served exactly to our different preferences. The surrounding countryside is beautiful, very green and peaceful.

We stayed at this lovely, charming Inn on our road trip around Wales. Such a lovely welcome from the hosts who make this charming hotel a delight to stay at and was super dog friendly too. The food was delicious, had the chickpea and red pepper curry which was amazing. The rooms were very charming, cosy and the beds were very comfy, we had a lovely stay at the Bridands Inn. This is one hotel that we will be visiting again and stay for a longer break.

All the rustic charm expected from a 600 year, beautifully yet sympathetically restored cottage, set in a very pretty valley. Very comfortable room with a really homely welcome from our hosts, Robin & Jane who were very attentive & a fabulous source of local info. Robin’s food is heavenly - strongly recommend you take up the offer of an evening meal at The Firecat, it will be your best foodie decision ever.
