The cabin was immaculate, so clean and tidy. It had everything we could possible need in there. There were maltesers and cookies waiting in the lodge for us on arrival! Such a lovely touch. The bed was so comfy. The location was so quiet and peaceful. Hot tub was lovely and private. Debbie was amazing and went above and beyond for us, giving us lifts to and from a few places. Thank you so so much.

Everything, from first arriving Debbie was absolutely amazing, explained everything, very welcoming. Then going into the cabin was nice and warm and the hot tub was bubbling away nicely for us to just go straight in. Absolutely perfect

On arrival first impressions were good, the location of the hot tub was good as it’s right next to the front door. Lovely layout and spacious, like home from home, BUT, the cleanliness omg the host Debbie must wash and scrub this place from top to bottom inside and out before you arrive because until going there we have never been to a resort, hotel or cabin as immaculate and spotless as this, a credit to the host, we had an amazing few days.

Lovely, cosy lodge in the picturesque countryside. If you’re looking for a quiet get away, this is the place. The hosts are great, and the lodge was spotless when we arrived. 10-15 drive to local villages, and under an hour away for Windermere.

Absolutely loved the property! Gorgeous little find, my fiancé and I went to celebrate our engagement and we loved it! Great location, Debbie is a wonderful host showing us how to use the hot tub and leaving us a few snacks. There’s even board games in the cabin, she really thought of everything for us! Will definitely be back, thanks for an amazing stay! Also super clean, loved it x

The views were amazing. The lodge was immaculate when we arrived, the host left us some nice chocolate and cookies which were a lovely touch. When we arrived the host showed us around explained the use of the hot tub and let us know she was around for any issues we needed over the weekend. The hot tub was fabulous, fits two which was cosy. The lodge was suited with heating, an air fryer, hob and microwave so we brought along our own food and just stayed in the lodge for a lovely detox weekend.

The lodge was stunning so clean and super cosy. Debbie was so welcoming, we really appreciated the little welcome basket and we will definitely look to book again. The hot tub was lovely, super clean and sheltered so great for when it was raining. The village was a lovely walk away and the Masons arms did really nice food and such friendly staff.

We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended for two more nights! The lodge is cosy and well laid out, kitchen was perfect for self catering and prepping meals for hikes. The location is peaceful and quiet in farmlands, but also close enough to a grocery shop in Appleby. A great place to stay for hiking and exploring the area. Lovely garden and beautiful surrounding views, and host Debbie was welcoming and friendly. overall brilliant place to stay.
