2 bed period cottage sleeps 4 in central Crickhowell, boasting a garden, is situated in Crickhowell, 25 km from Longtown Castle and 35 km from Clifford Castle. The property is non-smoking and is set 23 km from Brecon Cathedral.

The location of the cottage was excellent, in the middle of the town and an easy walk to pubs and restaurants. Having parking in the nearby pub meant no worries about the car while we were there. The cottage itself was exceptionally clean and very nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable. Nice bathroom too. And Crickhowell is the starting point for several fine walks across the Welsh hills, which is the reason we were staying.

Cute little cottage in a beautiful location, just a short walk out of Crickhowell. The cottage had everything we needed for a short stay and dealing with Jan was a pleasure. Just a few houses down from a pub and a little stream running behind, we couldn't have asked for a better place for our walking trip.

Great Location, with the back bedroom facing the river, lovely and cosy feel and we found the decor and furnishings quirky and fun and very much to our taste. love the wood burning stove. The bottle of wine and chocolate eggs (easter) and welsh cakes were a delightful surprise!

We were looking for somewhere to stay in the area, ideally wanted B & B, but nothing available. So went with the option of a cottage. The cottage itself is lovely, the sad thing is we did not really use it to its full use. Meaning we paid for more than what we needed which felt expensive. Approx £150 per night. Great local pub, with lovely locals. But like they say you do need to book if you want food. Great walks. Great weekend all round.

Cosy little cottage, exceptionally clean and well equipped for all the family needs. Little personal touches like sweets for kids, local welsh cakes with tea made us feel welcomed. It did look that the owners take a pride in their cottage and service they provide. Excellent communication, information provided on local amenities, where to eat, what to see, where to park, I mean I have never been to a place, where the owners take so much time to inform and provide 🙂 Wonderful relaxed stay. Would recommend 180% 🤗
