The lodge is absolutely stunning and in a beautiful location. Everything was immaculate and we had everything we needed. I was so impressed from the moment we turned up. My daughters were very happy and made use of the games. I can’t recommend this lodge enough. Pure bliss. The hosts were brilliant and are on hand to answer any queries.

The ideal place to escape to. A clean, comfortable and cosy living space with everything we needed. We were greeted and location briefed upon arrival which was wonderfully helpful, plus it's always nice to meet the owner. The views were exceptional, especially when enjoyed from the wood fired hot tub. Plenty of stunning hikes right on the doorstep. What an absolute gem of a place.

Just Wow. We loved everything about our stay. So peaceful with sheep all around. Beautifully decorated and so comfortable. Loved sitting outside and taking in the serenity and listening to the running stream. Jane was a perfect host. We couldn’t ask for more. It was very hard to leave this idyllic place.

For those that want to get away from it all it is perfect: lots of spectacular walks in every direction and the single track road with only local farm traffic. With wild rabbits visiting the garden daily, ducks in the pond and free range chickens it was a delightful place to be.

The owner, Mrs Hughes is super helpful, and would probably move a mountain if you asked her to. The property is quaint and the kitchen is very stocked. The home made cake on arrival was a tasty surprise. We travelled in November so the weather was expected but the cottage was very warm. Totally recommend if you seek seclusion.
