I can not recommend Rowan Cottage enough! It was exceptional. We loved it and didn't want to leave! We enjoyed an evening in the bbq hut, which was fantastic, and the hot tub was wonderful! We will definitely be booking again. Thank you for a relaxing break away!

    Lovely place for a stopover to explore the nearby countryside and villages. We needed a place that took dogs, and this one does. Felt looked after well by the staff. Lovely meals and lovely breakfast with a great selection of choices for both. Lovely big room with plenty of facilities and a large bath (welcome after walking on the windy moors). Great bar area with roaring fire and excellent service separate spaces to sit quietly in lovely room with pool table to chill. Lovely outside area at the back for when the weather is good

    Beautiful cosy little farm, so cosy, sofa and bed very comfortable, DVD player for nights in. Fantastic beautiful walks in the area not far away. Pub food around the area was lovely as well. At the farm there are fresh eggs and honey so I popped £4 in the loyalty box on leaving for some honey because it’s my favourite. Would 110% recommend and I would definitely go back

    Staff were efficient and friendly, our room was large with beams and rafters which gave it tremendous character. All meals taken in the hotel were of excellent quality. The position of the hotel was a surprise as it is in the country with no other buildings around but this suited us as it was peaceful and views of the surrounding countryside were outstanding

    Lovely location with great views across open countryside. Although we didn't get to really meet the owners due to Covid, when we did see them, they were very friendly, smiling and waving, plus they left us some lovely cakes for our arrival. We liked the upside down nature of the cottage, providing for good views across the farm, where we spent time trying to work out whether the cows were small or far away :-)
