Absolutely lovely. The decor was whimsical and original. Hosts were friendly and accommodating. Everything was done to a very high standard. We loved this place and it was one of our favorite holiday let’s ever. It’s one of the few places where we say “we would love to come back again“and really mean it. They were also very accommodating to allow us to bring our dog with us.

Beautifully presented and very comfortable. Loved the location and quiet gardens, just stunning. We even had a couple of fresh strawberries delivered by the gardener. Loved relaxing in the hammock after a week of cycling

This place is special, an experience it itself! We were not sure at first but when I asked my husband before we were leaving "Would we stay here again?" he replied "You bet your cotton socks we would!". Yes, OK, a bit of a mystery but I shall leave it at that and maintain the mystery. As Alex said, everywhere you look there is another surprise. Please future users take care with this gem and leave it as you found it...

Stunning property with very comfortable beds and sofa. My son enjoyed using Netflix and we both enjoyed the coffee table books. Lovely selection of food to make breakfast and a packed lunch . Did not want to leave . The massive windows in the living room and bedroom make you feel really close to nature while being cosy indoors.

The fridge full of vegan products was wonderful as well as the cosy sofa and the pre-ordered delicious dinner that was brought to us. Super lovely accomodation and we were a little bit sorry we were only staying for one night:)

What a fantastic place to stay! We stayed here for 1 night while walking Hadrians Wall. The accommodation is in a separate building to the main house. Warm, spacious and spotlessly clean and well equipped. The only thing missing is a hob so you could be truly self catering, however, this is advertised as a B&B so not a problem! Breakfast is provided in the barn and you can take anything left over for packing up for the day. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable of the local area. Would definitely recommend!!!!

Very stylish and comfortable self contained b&b, with everything you could wish for. Lesley, the host, was in contact before our stay and made sure we had everything we wanted. Breakfast was great and extra food supplied so we could make sandwiches and snacks throughout the day, and the home cooked evening meals were excellent! Comfy and cosy too - lovely bedding, comfy beds and great shower. We would definitely recommend Hadrian’s Barn, it would be lovely to come in the summer and be able to enjoy he lovely outside space too!

This was an amazing place, cosy, warm. 400 yards from a footpath to Hadrians wall. Lesley couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome. Will definitely be going back 😃

The cottage was very very clean and comfortable. Our host was right next door and she was very willing to help with anything we needed. She also left us several contacts for a takeaway. We were also provided with cookies, teas and coffees, juice, toast, porridge and cereal for breakfast which we really appreciated. The surroundings were beautiful and tranquil. We could see horses grazing on the field from the window in our bedroom!

The setting was great- peaceful and really well situated for country walks. Hadrian's Wall path was close by, so perfect for our needs. The cottage garden was magical and a lot of thought had gone into welcoming walkers and other tourists for a relaxing stay. An evening meal could have been provided, had we wanted one. A tasty continental breakfast and sufficient food to make a sandwich was provided.

lovely property set in a gorgeous setting within a walled garden with very interesting and cosy outdoor seating areas. It was quiet and inside decorated and equipped to a high standard, very fresh and clean. The additional extra of the evening meal was well worth the money and was excellent value and very tasty. The breakfast selection made a pleasant change. Really enjoyed my stay and Lesley was so friendly and helpful.
