We had a lovely week during the late July heatwave. The host Jo greeted us and was lovely. The cottage was clean, the bed was comfy, and the kitchen was well equipped. The location was great for trips inland or to the coast and had a couple of good pubs around a 25-minute stroll away. We made good use of the Bbq facilities and stargazers will appreciate the dark skies. All in an excellent week.

Lovely old historic building with wobbly walls and uneven floors which are charming. Staff were very friendly and helpful and helped us store our bicycles safely. They also arranged an earlier breakfast to suit us.

Fantastically characterful building right in the centre of town. The roof was warm, clean, and comfortable. Plenty of onsite parking. The bar was nice, with a roaring fire. A quirky building that was cosy and convenient.

my room was very clean as was the hotel & restaurant. As it was my partners 61st Birthday on the saturday we got a free upgrade to a bigger room & also a £10 discount voucher of our food bill. The quality of the food is of a very high standard but the portions were a bit big but well worth the money.plenty to chose from on the breakfast menu .I also liked the decor of the restaurant which had a lovely feel about it with the posh lighting. It had a cosy feel too.
