Location is perfect, tucked away but still right in the centre of town and all clean and tidy. Communication with the hosts was excellent and everything provided for a comfortable stay. There are books, board games and TV for a night in but we popped into the Turk's Head next door where the locals were very welcoming and dog friendly. If you're cycling in the area there's a massive utility room for secure storage.

Lovely host! The bedroom was clean and comfortable and our room had a bath in the ensuite which was a welcome luxury after walking Hadrian's wall. We had dinner which fantastic, and breakfast was brilliant as well.

Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Lovely cosy lodge, well equipped, great location for walks on the Hadrian's Wall path. Friendly helpful hosts. Easy to park just outside. Comfortable bed and the shower room was bigger than I expected. There's a bus from Greenhead about 15 minutes' walk away to the main places along Hadrian's Wall. I got the bus to Housesteads and walked back, which was challenging but a great walk.
Very close to the Hadrian's Wall National Trail making it ideal for walkers. Comfortable lodges in a quiet area. Nigel went out of his way to provide supplies for an early breakfast.
Beautifully designed and decorated Shepherd’s Hut. Sam & Steve have thought of everything for your comfort! Set in a pretty garden with great views over the countryside. The hosts went above and beyond to welcome and help!
