This studio is comfortable, exceptionally clean and has everything we need. Hosts Jeff and Catherine are welcoming and gave us an introduction to the surrounding sites to visit which is very helpful. We enjoyed watching the view across the loch changes with the weather. Everything is perfect.

The property was amazing, a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. The interior was stylish and cozy, perfect to relax after a full day on Skye. Perfect for all the social media snaps you want. The bedrooms were lovely, the kitchen was perfect and the fireplace was exactly what was needed after a long day. The host is incredible, leaving a welcome package, some wonderful Scottish treats, and checking on us to make sure all was well. I didn’t realize who Thomas Telford was when we booked so it was an incredible treat to learn as we were enjoying the area about the historic architect and engineer. I would come again and again to the Isle of Skye and stay here every time. Just perfect in every way!

Our stay went smoothly and everything was perfect ! The house was clean at our arrival and had every basic commodity. If I may make a suggestion I would just say that the announcement should give some information on how far away is the nearest supermarket and that the guests will find washing tablets for the laundry and the dish washer, toilet paper for the length of their stay, salt, pepper, olive oil and vinegar. This information would avoid unnecessary expenses. I rent this house again with my eyes shut !

We loved the location. It is a bit isolated but that is exactly what we were looking for. The cottage was absolutely spotless. It had everything that we needed and we had no issues at all. The view and the sunsets were lovely when the weather permitted. I would definitely recommend this property.

We absolutely loved our stay at Trumpan Cottage!! Leslie is such a nice person and we really enjoyed her company. The breakfast she served in the mornings was fantastic, so delicious and there were plenty of choices (plant based milk as well!). Everything was so clean and comfortable and the two dogs are the cutest. We will come back to what felt like home.

The location of this charming house is superb, with views of the stunning surrounding landscape and seascape. The house is very well-equipped with anything one needs for a relaxing holiday. Lesley has taken so much effort to make sure this place is just a perfect stay. We were particularly impressed with the warm welcome (where we were given the keys) and Lesley also made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The house also has just positive invigorating energy. I slept so well and felt refreshed every morning.

Breathtaking surroundings. One of the best places we ever stayed at. Never saw stars so bright as this is at a remote location with no light pollution. House is amazing and was perfect for the seven of us. Would definitely come back again.
