The room was very nicely finished, comfortable and spacious. The general ambience in the bar area was very cosy, and felt just like a proper "ye olde" pub should feel like. Dinner was a tad pricey, but you got what you paid for, the food was excellent. Good selection of wines and beers, if a little pricey too. Breakfast was sized appropriately and very tasty, but the selection on the counter was limited.

What a beautiful place to stay. Everything was perfect for a peaceful getaway with our little dog, Buddy. The accommodation was so well maintained and comfortable, and we loved the food in the cosy, characterful pub. We felt very welcome and well looked after by all of the friendly staff. We will definitely make a return visit soon.
