The house was perfect. Beautifully styled and absolutely spotless. I stayed for 2 nights initially because I couldn’t find a suitable hotel and I’m very glad I didn’t in the end as the house was brilliant. It was perfect location for a wider business meeting we were attending in Mallingtree

We liked the location as it was close to where we were visiting and the decor of the house was lovely. It was clean upon arrival. Communication was great with the vendor and got a message to see how we were getting on. The parking was great and spacious so we were able to safely get everything in and out.

A lovely cottage in a beautiful village. The cottage was really well equipped with lots of little extras in the kitchen, including a few nibbles and treats upon arrival. Once inside, the cottage is all on one level which is handy for anyone with accessibility needs.
Loved our stay. Hot tub, wood burner, lovely views - everything we needed for a short break in an otherwise cold and wet February. Loved the large windows and patio. Quiet countryside location with lots of lovely cafes, farm shops, and pubs nearby. We also appreciated the thorough guide to the local area and sights provided by the hosts. Already planning our return in the summer!
The big kitchen was properly equipped to cook wonderful meals. The property was very cosy and wonderful for a winter weekend. Very well located for countryside runs and very cute villages around. My partner and I loved it very much - we'll definitely be back!
PS: the hot tub was a big plus!
We loved the quietness of the area , the hot tub and log burner were a huge asset to the lodge , being next to the river was lovely to watch nature at its best.
