Clean well appointed spacious. Kind of cottage you would happily live in full time. Had one of the best meals out for a long time down the road at Clachan Inn
Not in expensive but well worth it as a holiday treat.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
The location of the property is glorious, with lovely countryside views and a lovely peaceful, rural setting. My son loved the horse (Rosie?) and the very friendly dogs which made his bike rides all the more fun. The cottage had everything we needed and with really comfortable beds and a wonderful window seat in the lounge it was easy to feel well rested. Philippa and her husband made us feel very welcome.
We had an amazing time at Boreland Farm. It was very clean ,beautiful area and views. The owners are a lovely family and so helpful. My 12 year old son helped on the farm with the lambs and had the best time . The cottage was beautiful and well equipped. We will definitely going back 😍
Lovely cosy accommodation, warm clean and comfortable.
Good sized beds and shower. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable living room.
Fantastic location, incredible and friendly hosts. Highly recommend booking this location.
The location was brilliant. The roads in the area, although minor, are in very good condition and very quiet. The views from the living room are fantastic. The bedroom enormous. The furniture etc very tasteful and the layout perfect. The heating was good when needed, but the bungalow is generally a very warm building. The sheep were beautiful. This place is as faraway from the mad world you can get, and yet relatively easy to get to, and then when you get back to the mad, mad world relish the memory.
We were surrounded by sheep, dogs, chickens and ducks, red kites circling above. Situated on a rise there were views across the valley, darkness and quiet at night. The stone built cottage was warm and the beds comfortable. The kitchen is small but well thought through.
I liked the outlook and the peaceful setting being on the farm. The bungalow has everything you would expect and is fairly spacious. I loved that it was cosy and warm as I feel the cold.
