The setting is fantastic out the door into the woods, the yurt was fantastic and the log burner makes it very cosy on chilly nights. The bathrooms are cleaned and tidy.
all in all it was a brilliant stay will definitely stay here again

The cottage had so much character but also had everything you needed for modern living. It just made you smile staying here. It was a very short walk to the centre of town so anything you needed was close by. We also went to the races and we were able to walk there (took about 20mins) so that was great!

Very bright and airy and super clean. The garden was amazing for the dogs to run around with the security of them not escaping.

A really lovely space with more than you usually get such as a kitchen area and table and chairs. Very comfy bed and a nice big TV! The owners were lovely and you can also use their garden and book to use a hot tub although sadly we didn’t have time for this. Lovely local pub a short stroll away too.

Privacy and peace and quiet. Heated pool was great for our needs. Fabulous to be able to take our dog with us- she loved the walks.

Chestnut Lodge is a beautiful and well appointed cottage. The cottage is situated in a very peaceful location. It was extremely clean and comfortable. Very comfortable beds, comfortable bed linen, plenty of towels provided etc. The private outside courtyard is a huge bonus too.
A delightfully historic building. Great staff, friendly and cosy atmosphere. Excellent location close to facilities, transport links and walkable distance to open countryside.
