It suited us particularly because of our agenda (to visit family in Northampton). The garden and the tennis courts were lovely. The canal (a short walk away) was also really nice.

Slightly quirky but utterly charming B&B set in beautiful countryside. The owners David and Lizzie are brilliant, nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and delicious, served in an orangery overlooking the garden. We stayed with our 2 boys in the clock tower and all loved it!!

Sandra was a wonderful host. The accommodation was fabulous and the farm set in stunning scenery. It was idyllic and just what was needed to recharge the batteries. The little extras in the room were a nice touch as was the sloe gin ! (very tasty). I would highly recommend this b&b and will return to try out the hot tub

I loved the location it was an idyllic place. The Cottage was very relaxing and comfortable. Slept like a dream and to wake up looking over the beautiful walled garden was perfect. We came down for a wedding so didn't have time to use the hot tub. Lots of nice walks for our Black Labrador and so nice having a safe garden for her to roam while we sat outside the patio doors. I Would definitely recommend for a relaxing stay.

If you are looking for a romantic weekend away, away from the world in the middle of the countryside then this is a great place to go. Even if you are looking for a couple days to yourself to unwind , think and relax. I would also recommend booking the hot tub for your stay. There is a country pub round the corner (the countrymann) for which the dinners they make I was not expecting. Was more like food you would expect from a 5 star restaurant.
