Location was brilliant - right in the middle of Brixham with bars, shops and cafes only a minute's walk away. The house was beautiful with lots of character and a lovely roof terrace overlooking the harbour, which was perfect for cocktails in the sun. The bedrooms were good sizes, nice and clean and very comfortable. An added bonus was each bedroom had it's own bathroom / en-suite 😊

Been to brixham a few times now but first time staying here and it was very clean and cosy!
Loved that you got a cream tea on arrival, also the property had everything you needed to cook with.
Great location 3 min drive to the harbour about 20 mins walk. Not to far from other locations either. Will definitely stay again!
Also the hosts are quick to respond if you have any concerns upon arrival.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Our hosts were very friendly and made us very welcome and we felt at home. The cottage was immaculate and cosy with beautiful views of the garden and surrounding countryside. Peace and quiet was had and well needed chill out time. We would recommend a visit to anyone who wants a place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of life.
Beautifully restored. I lived there with my grandparents briefly as a baby in 1948 and then visited regularly until late 1960s. So many happy memories.
Felt very welcomed with coffee and scones, cream and jam provided by hosts. Ideal size for two (we didn't need to use the second bedroom). All facilities necessary and cooking facilities provided. Garden areas at the back on terraces warm comfortable, though overlooked by neighbours who were friendly and respected our privacy. The countryside around was beautiful, but we had no time to walk. Very narrow roads, but this was something we got used to and we weren't hurried.
Cosy cottage for four in a superb location close to great beaches and plenty of walking trails by the coast, dart river or countryside you are spoilt for choices. Cottage has everything you need and the beds are incredibly comfy. Wood burner is great to huddle around on chilly nights.
Sally & Graham are such friendly, gracious and helpful hosts - great to talk to! They really made may stay there extra wonderful. Their cottage was sparkling clean and nicely decorated with their personal touches, the bedroom was spacious, warm and comfortable with great view, good shower, great selection for breakfast and lovely garden. Lots of interesting walks around the area.
We visited during a heatwave and found the cottage and back patio lovely and cool all day.
The welcome basket containing homemade scones with jam and clotted cream was such a lovely touch - and absolutely delicious!
Gorgeous location, perfectly appointed room, beautiful cottage spotlessly clean and very tastefully decorated. The hosts were lovely and so accommodating, even giving me a ride to and from the station when I wasn't able t arrange a taxi. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful - fantastic coffee, teas, eggs, yogurt, fantastic fresh breads and even home made jam.
Short walk to a couple of delicious pubs with upscale food.
