Stayed in Room 3 for 2 nights to celebrate a birthday. Lovely friendly, helpful owners and staff. The room was extremely comfortable with a large room and large bathroom, soft bedding, fluffy white towels and peaceful countryside views. Great breakfast cooked by the owner Paul at a time of our choice. Very close to Bath and Wells for Christmas shopping and would definitely recommend Wells, which is a beautiful city with independent shops, a market and of course, the fabulous cathedral.

Lovely country pub with cosy, comfy and clean rooms. Unfortunately had to attend a wedding locally, and would have much rather spent a quiet afternoon in this pub enjoying a beer and some of their food - which looked and smelt excellent as I walked through the bar area. Breakfast was lovely, the "full Somerset" included some high quality meats!

We booked the hotel for a visit to nearby Bath, as we couldn't get anything in town with guaranteed parking facilities. Overall it was a pleasant stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and they went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The breakfast was excellent - much better even than in some more expensive places. And the cosy, pub-like hotel restaurant offered good food.
