We were able to park opposite the Cottage where we were staying while doing part of the Offas Dyke Walk. The accomodation was perfect for our needs with a well fitted kitchen so that we could pack trail lunches and cook for very hungry people in the evening.
There was also a lovely pub very close so we could relax and eat there too.
Very clean and super comfortable beds. Cottage is a great location, a minute from shop and pub but still quiet. Lots of lovely walks from doorstep. Great coms with host and easy to park outside property. Will definitely book again.
Lavender Cottage was a charming
place to stay in Clun. It was very thoughtfully and well equipped including lots of local info e.g. walks has a games cupboard and good kitchen.
It has 2 comfortable bedrooms, single and double, electric heating and woodburning stove in the living room. There is dedicated parking space close by. It has lots of personal touches and is in the little rural town in easy reach of the pubs, shop and cafes.
This is a great cottage, much bigger than the exterior photograph suggests. The inside is spacious, well decorated, comfortable and very clean.
The location in Clun just a few yards from the shop, pubs and cafes is ideal. Parking in the street immediately outside was easy, and lovely walks start right from the door. We had an excellent weekend stay, and would happily return.
What a gem. Clun is a beautiful quiet village ideal for anyone wanting to walk, browse craft shops and cafes or eat lovely home cooked food in the local pub. Lavender cottage is the sweetest little two up two down cottage and soooo cosy. Loads of features, beams, flag stones and a wood burning stove, everything you need for a romantic few days away!
