Really nice cottage in the middle of the village. Great location as we attended a wedding at Peckforton Castle which is nearby. We had a lovely meal in the village and then walked back to the cottage for the wedding party to get ready. Nicely decorated and set out and tons of space for us all (we were a group of 8 ladies). I have just re-booked to bring my family back next month!

    The staff were really friendly all throughout our stay and the room was clean and tidy. Check-in and out was really easy. The breakfasts that were included in the price of the room were a great portion size and delicious! We didn’t actually spend too long in the room or the pub because we’d stayed over for a wedding so we didn’t actually get to try any of the other food off the pubs menu but it sounded nice! The pub itself was really clean and cosy, I wish we could have spent more time there.

    The girls working there were very helpful and polite. The restaurant and bar looked cosy and well decorated with extensive outdoor seating. Very nicely decorated.

    We ate dinner here on our first night and the food was delicious and the portions were large. Varied selection for breakfast and again delicious. An added bonus...whichever way we ordered our eggs they came perfectly cooked. The staff were beyond friendly and helpful. As we were staying for a wedding we didn't have enough time enjoy the area, but there looked to be plenty to do and we intend staying here when we come back to explore the pretty countryside. Thank you team for a wonderful weekend

    Lovely bar and restaurant. Good choice on food and drinks and excellent quality. Staff charming and so helpful. We had to leave before breakfast but they packed up a lunch for us.
